寿板 (Nyoba Kan)

始于1995年,马来西亚仅有的舞踏团体并发起吉隆坡国际舞踏艺术节 - “寿板舞踏祭”,借此推广舞踏活动,也促进舞踏发源地日本与其他国家的舞踏艺术家交流。

2010年二度邀请舞踏宗师土方巽(Tatsumi Hijikata)的门徒和栗由纪夫(Yukio Waguri)参与艺术节并作相互深入的交流与合作。

办团十五年的经验,从艺术总监李瑞强本身两度到日本拜访舞踏大师学习,到2008年带领团员回日本参学,拜见了大野庆人等大师。今寿板舞踏传承了土方巽的黑暗舞踏精神,又以马来西亚特殊的文化背景特质,并融合气功、瑜珈、佛家、道家、现代舞等功法,整合一套以“修身养性”为前提的舞蹈观念。



Founded in 1995, the only Buto dance group in Malaysia, and pioneers the International Buto Festival in Kuala Lumpur – Nyoba Kan International Buto Festival. This event aims to introduce the Buto’s art through various Buto performances and activities, and also to promote the exchange among Japan Buto and foreign Buto artists.

The Buto Master Yukio Waguri (the disciple of Tatsumi Hijikata), was invited by Nyoba Kan to participate in art fests and collaboration for second time in 2010.

Within these 15 years, the Artistic Director Lee Swee Keong visited to Japan twice to learn Buto from Buto masters, he also lead the team members to study in Japan in 2008. Nowadays, Nyoba Kan is not only inherits the spirit of Hijikata’s Ankoku Buto, but a unique Buto’s art was born as a result of Malaysia special cultures contest and characteristics, and fuses the elements of Qi Gong, Yoga, Buddhism, Taoism, and Contemporary Dance.
